The 2nd Annual Arbuckle-Simpson Nature Festival will take place May 2-4, 2008. The early bird registration deadline is April 1, 2008.

This year's participants will be guided by regional naturalists and wildlife experts on tours of such local gems as the Blue River, the Nature Conservancy's Pontotoc Ridge Preserve, the Tishomingo National Wildlife Refuge, and the Tishomingo National Fish Hatchery. On each of the outings, participants will have the opportunity to observe a broad cross-section of the hundreds of bird species recorded in our area as well as the variety of butterfly, amphibian, fish, plant life, and unique geologic formations.
